Passed away today 15.11.2018 at 7.29 pm at JSS Hospital, Mysore... 

Revered Swamiji was initially admitted for pneumonia a month ago and was given a ventilator and other life support systems. 

He was healthy enough to remove all the life supports on 5th Nov. 

Today Maharaj was shifted out of ISOLATION ICU TO WARD by 12.30 pm. 

Maharaj was cheerful.

By 4.30 pm his oxygen level suddenly came down in spite of the best efforts of doctors and at 7.29 pm Swamiji passed away. 

Cremation of the mortal remains of Revered Swami Jagadatmanandaji Mj.

His final Darshan Timings at Mysuru: November 16th Morning 6am to 10am at RIMSE,

 KRS Road(Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala Campus),

 Mysuru.

Darshan Timings at Sri Ramakrishna Sharadashrama, 

Ponnampet: November 16th, 1pm to 4 pm.

Cremation will be held at Ponnampet,

Swami Jagadatmananda Ji (Lakshminarayan Maharaj) passed away at a hospital in Mysuru on 15 November at 7.29 pm due to pneumonia. 

He was 88 and had been suffering from oral cancer for some years. 

Initiated by Swami Yatishwarananda Ji Maharaj, 

he joined the order in 1960 at Bengaluru Math and received sannyasa Diksha from Swami Vireshwarananda Ji Maharaj in 1969. 

He served at Mangaluru and Mysuru centers as an assistant and at Singapore, 

Shillong, 

and Ponnampet centers as the head He also served as an acharya, 

and later as the principal of the Training Centre. 

He had been living a retired life at Ponnampet center since 2011. 

The Swami authored a few books in Kannada,

 including Badukalu Kaliyiri which became a bestseller and was translated into English (under the title Learn to Live) and several other languages.

 He was also a powerful speaker. 

He endeared himself to all, simple, 

affectionate, 

and affable by nature, 

especially to youths who would flock to him for inspiration and guidance.
